Choose your device ↓Before using this IPTV installation guide, connect your device to the internet and have your IPTV UK access details ready. Your player app and IPTV subscription are separate; some apps charge their own licence or Premium fee.
Choose the matching login method. Xtream Codes uses a server URL, username and password. M3U uses the complete playlist link. A portal connection may require your device MAC to be registered. Keep these details private; use the format supplied for your account.
Select your device to jump to the matching IPTV setup steps. Each section explains the player, account connection and first playback check.
PLAYERS: TiviMate / Smarters · YOU NEED: Xtream login or M3U playlist
STEP 1
Check your Fire TV model first. For a compatible Android-based Fire TV Stick, install Downloader from the Amazon Appstore if the player is not available directly. Open the player developer’s official site to obtain its Fire TV / Android download.
STEP 2
If needed, go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options → Install unknown apps and allow Downloader. If Developer Options is hidden, open About and press the device name seven times. Install the official player file, then turn off Downloader’s installation permission.
STEP 3
In TiviMate, choose Add playlist → Xtream Codes and enter your server URL, username and password. In a compatible Smarters version, choose its Xtream login option. If you received an M3U link instead, choose the playlist / URL option and paste the full link.
STEP 4
Save the login and allow the channel list to load. Open Live TV and test a channel. If an EPG URL was provided separately, add it in the player’s TV guide settings. Features depend on the app and your subscription.
Download links: TiviMate — tivimate.com; Smarters — smarterspro.com. Use the developer’s current download instructions, rather than an unverified Downloader code. App and APK compatibility varies by Fire TV model and operating system.
Official app / device documentation ↗PLAYERS: TiviMate / Smarters Pro · YOU NEED: Xtream login or M3U playlist
STEP 1
Open Google Play on your Android TV, Google TV or compatible box. Install TiviMate IPTV Player for remote-control viewing, or use the Android TV download linked from smarterspro.com. Check the developer before installing.
STEP 2
TiviMate: open Add playlist and select Xtream Codes or M3U playlist. Smarters: open its add-user / playlist screen and select the matching login method offered by your version.
STEP 3
For Xtream, enter the complete server URL, username and password exactly as supplied. For M3U, paste the full playlist URL. Give the playlist a name such as IPTV UK and save it.
STEP 4
Wait for the channel list, open a channel and test playback with your remote. In the guide settings, add the supplied EPG link if one is needed. A missing guide may need an EPG refresh rather than a new login.
TiviMate is designed for Android TV and remote navigation, rather than phones. Its Premium upgrade unlocks app features and is separate from your IPTV UK plan. Menu labels can vary with app version.
Official app / device documentation ↗PLAYER EXAMPLE: IBO Player · YOU NEED: M3U playlist + app device details
STEP 1
Press Home on your Samsung remote, open Apps / Smart Hub and search for IBO Player. Install it if offered for your model and region. Other compatible choices may include Smart IPTV or SET IPTV; each has its own setup portal.
STEP 2
Open IBO Player and note the Device MAC and Device Key displayed on its setup screen. Keep the app open while you complete the playlist setup using a phone or computer.
STEP 3
On your phone or computer, visit the playlist-management website shown inside the installed app. Sign in with its device details, add a playlist named IPTV UK, paste your complete M3U link and save. Use only that app’s portal.
STEP 4
Return to the television and choose Reload / Refresh, or restart the app. Open IPTV UK and test a channel. If the playlist is empty, check the M3U link and the Device MAC entered in the portal.
The app licence is separate from your subscription. If you use Smarters Pro instead, install the official Samsung app from TECH SMARTERS PRIVATE LIMITED and follow its login screen. TiviMate is for Android TV, not Samsung Tizen.
Official app / device documentation ↗PLAYER EXAMPLE: IBO Player · YOU NEED: M3U playlist + app device details
STEP 1
Open LG Content Store / Apps and search for IBO Player. Install the version available for your television and region. Smart IPTV or SS IPTV may be alternatives where supported; their setup methods differ.
STEP 2
Launch IBO Player and note its Device MAC and Device Key. On a phone or computer, open the playlist-management website displayed in the app and sign in with those details.
STEP 3
Add a playlist named IPTV UK, enter the complete M3U URL from your account and save it. Check that the device details match your television before submitting the playlist.
STEP 4
Restart or refresh the app on your LG TV, open the new playlist and test a channel. If you use SS IPTV instead, go to Settings → Content → External Playlists → Add, enter the name and M3U URL, then save.
LG webOS does not use the Android TV version of TiviMate. Check model and store compatibility before purchasing a player licence. App activation and IPTV UK channel access are separate.
Official app / device documentation ↗PLAYER: Smarters Pro · YOU NEED: Supported playlist or account login
STEP 1
Open smarterspro.com and follow its Android phone Google Play link. Install the mobile version from the linked developer listing, then launch it.
STEP 2
Open the app’s add-user / playlist screen. Choose the login method matching your access details: Xtream Codes if offered, or the M3U / playlist URL option.
STEP 3
For Xtream, supply the server URL, username and password. For M3U, paste the complete playlist link. Name it IPTV UK and save. A server URL alone is not a complete M3U playlist.
STEP 4
Allow the channel categories to load and select a channel. Check the TV guide or on-demand sections if your app and account support them. Stay within your plan’s simultaneous-device limit.
TiviMate is designed for TV remotes, so use a mobile player on your phone. VLC remains an M3U alternative: More → New stream, paste your link and start playback.
Official app / device documentation ↗PLAYER: Smarters Pro / compatible iOS player · YOU NEED: Account login or M3U
STEP 1
Follow the iPhone / iPad App Store link from smarterspro.com and install the linked player. Check that the version supports your device and supplied access format.
STEP 2
Open the app and select its account / playlist option. If your version offers Xtream Codes login, choose it for a server URL, username and password; use the playlist option for an M3U link.
STEP 3
Enter the requested fields exactly as received from IPTV UK, name the playlist and save. For M3U, use the complete URL, including any account parameters.
STEP 4
Wait for loading to finish, open Live TV and test a channel. Refresh the guide if needed. If login fails, check your copied details for missing characters or spaces.
Use an iOS-compatible player rather than an Android APK. VLC is an alternative for M3U playback through Open Network Stream; full guide and library features depend on the chosen app.

VLC is the M3U method shown above. If you prefer Smarters Pro, use its Windows download linked from smarterspro.com, then add your supported account / playlist details. The player’s licence does not include an IPTV subscription.

Use the playlist view to choose a channel and test playback. If loading fails, check the copied URL for missing characters.
For account-based playback, Smarters Pro also provides a macOS download through smarterspro.com. Use the supported account / playlist option in that app. The VLC steps above require an M3U link, rather than a portal URL.
Official app / device documentation ↗PLAYER: Smarters Pro for Apple TV · YOU NEED: Supported account or playlist
STEP 1
Use an Apple TV with access to the tvOS App Store. Confirm that the selected player supports your model and the access details supplied for your subscription.
STEP 2
Open the App Store on Apple TV. Use the Apple TV listing linked from smarterspro.com to identify and install the compatible player, then launch it.

Apple TV requires a tvOS-compatible app; an Android installation file will not work. VLC remains a basic network-stream alternative. App purchases and IPTV UK access are separate.
Official app / device documentation ↗PLAYER: MYTVOnline · YOU NEED: Portal, Xtream login or M3U URL
STEP 1
MYTVOnline2: Menu → Connections. MYTVOnline3: Menu → Content Manager → Content Sources. MYTVOnline4: Menu → Settings → App Settings → Content Sources.
STEP 2
For a MAC portal, share the MAC/ID shown by MYTVOnline with IPTV UK so it can be registered. For Xtream, prepare the server URL, username and password. For M3U, prepare the full playlist link; use the matching connection type.
STEP 3
Choose Add Portal for a portal or Xtream connection. Enter a name and the supplied URL; enable login and enter the username/password for Xtream. For M3U, choose Add Playlist instead and paste the full link. Add the EPG URL if provided.
STEP 4
Save / Connect, wait for the channel list, and test playback. An unauthorised MAC portal needs activation by your provider.
Use the instructions for your MYTVOnline version. Portal access, Xtream login and M3U are different setup methods; choose the one included with your subscription.
Official app / device documentation ↗PLAYER: Built-in Linux portal · YOU NEED: Portal URL + registered box MAC
STEP 1
Connect your MAG box to the TV and the internet. Give your provider its MAC address so they can authorise the device for portal access.
STEP 2
From the embedded portal, go to Settings → System Settings → Servers → Portals.
STEP 3
Give Portal 1 a name such as IPTV UK. Enter the exact portal URL supplied for your MAG box and save the changes.
STEP 4
Restart the portal / box to load the new settings. If you see a blocked-device message, confirm the registered MAC and portal with your provider.
These steps apply to MAG boxes running Infomir’s Linux embedded portal. Android-based MAG models use an Android player instead; check your model first.
Official app / device documentation ↗Login error: check the complete URL and exact username/password. Remove accidental spaces and confirm your subscription is active.
Buffering: test another channel, close other streams and try Ethernet or move closer to your Wi-Fi router. Respect the connection limit of your plan.
Blocked portal: check that the correct device MAC / Virtual MAC is registered. An app licence does not activate your IPTV subscription.
Cannot find the app: availability varies by model, region and operating system. Follow the developer’s official store or download links. Tell IPTV UK your exact device and player name if you need a compatible alternative.
